~A LITTLE FREEBIE~

I made this simple graphing activity for Groundhogs Day (THIS SATURDAY - YIKES!)  Let's hope he sees his shadow!  Click on the photo below to download your free copy.  My kids will be making predictions on whether or not the groundhog will see his shadow or not.  It includes picture cards to create a classroom pictograph.  There is also a data graph to fill out and a sheet to answer questions about the pictograph.
Have fun! (Sorry for the small pictures)

Math Workshop Rotation Board

Here's a picture of my math workshop board in the classroom.  Not the best picture, but you get the idea ;)  My labels are on card-stock with magnet squares on the back, so I can easily re-arrange on the dry/erase board, if needed.  The kids absolutely love doing math workshop and after about 3 times they knew just where to go and when.  Tell me what you think!  I will be posting my labels for download soon.

 Interactive Language Arts Powerpoint!

I love anyway I can integrate literacy and technology!  My kids play this sequencing game on the computer and really enjoy learning this way.  Here are a few pages from the powerpoint.

It's an interactive game for   students or for the teacher to use as a teaching tool. Students are given various scenarios regarding the sequencing of events and/or text along with multiple choice answers. It includes prompts such as ~ What happens next?...What is out of order?...What comes first?  Students also know if they get it right or wrong and have the option to try again. Motion graphics included!!  In addition, science is integrated. The powerpoint is meant to be "played" so that the buttons within it can be utilized by the students.  If you like it, click on one of the slides to get it!
